Proxy Rule for Mandant SSO Endpoints to USER.iD

Integration Requirement: The Limio webshop needs to integrate a login widget that communicates with USER.iD authentication service.

Technical Challenge: USER.iD creates session cookies based on the requesting hostname. For proper session management, requests must appear to come from the store domain rather than directly from USER.iD.

Solution: Implement proxy forwarding rules to route SSO requests through the store domain while maintaining session integrity.

• Configure proxy forwarding rule:
  • Source: https://store.<portal-domain>.de/sso/*
  • Target: https://www.user.id/sso/*
• Wildcard path forwarding - All paths under /sso/ should be forwarded
