Less frequent version roll-outs / better testing of releases / better documentation
PlannedWe are having a hard time keeping up with the frequency of releases. It would be ideal if fixes/updates were packaged into major and minor releases that were more scheduled. We need to apply to DEV, do intense testing and the roll to Production so it is a lot of time involved. It is also very hard to keep up with what has changed, how it impacts us, and if are required to make any changes. Better documentation of what is required of the customer (i.e. you must rebuild and publish all campaigns and pages, if you were using XYZ you are will be required to replace it with ABC, etc…).Â
We have also had new bugs introduced to our environments with every update we have committed to rolling out. We have had functionality broken, configuration files over-written or removed, UI bugs introduced. These are bad for the customer and consume quite a bit of time on our end to test and report. Then wait for yet another release to get them fixed.Â
So more stable, fully tested and vetted releases on a less frequent schedule with good documentation is the ask.

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your feedback, we have discussed this internally and agree that the release cadence is a work in progress with finding the sweet spot. Over the past two quarters, we have only released Limio Commerce 106 with 107 with the team for regression testing.
Watch this space and as always we welcome all feedback with regards to the release cycle.
Best wishes,
Asha
