Limio Segments & Journeys
Limio Segments are groups of customers, like your highly engaged customers. Segments can also be used for defining Journeys. You can set up segments to make sure that every time a subscriber buys a specific product, then they get added to a specific segment as well.
Segments can be provided via the Limio API, can be passed to Limio via the authentication token, or via cookies. Doing it via the authentication token or cookies will require Limio support.
For example, we can setup a Rescue Campaign journey which will use segments - so, if a customer is in a certain segment then we redirect them to certain Campaign and show them different offers based on that. Another use case could be to redirect lapsed subscribers going to their MMA page to a winback campaign, redirecting a subscriber wishing to downgrade/upgrade to the relevant offers (see How to create a personalised switch experience with Switch Offers) or redirecting a subscriber wishing to cancel to the most relevant campaigns (see How to configure the Cancel and Cancel/Save journey).
