How to sell subscription gift codes in Limio for Salesforce (legacy)

Configuring the gift purchasing experience

Gifts can be purchased as a single gift or in bulk in Limio for Salesforce. This allows an agent to place an order of multiple gift codes in one operation, which will generate 1 gift code with a redeemable quantity in Limio.

This feature will only work if the offer is set in the following way:

1. Offer is set as a Gift

2. Offer is set as a redeemable gift

3. (For bulk purchase) Offer has Allow Multibuy set to true

Here are the steps to purchase multiple gifts in Limio for Salesforce:

Step 1: Login to Limio for Salesforce and raise an order.

Step 2: Click on 'New gift purchase' from the dropdown.

Step 3: Select the quantity of gifts to be purchased.

Step 4: Fill in the required recipient details and click on submit (this should be set to be the purchaser).

Step 5: The Gift Code can be seen in Limio Subscriptions once the request is processed with a redeemable quantity.

We can see that the gift Quantity is '5' which we have selected in Step 3. The code can therefore be redeemed with the same Gift Code 5 times. The Used Quantity counter will be incremented each time a gift is redeemed.

Configuring the gift redeeming experience

Agents can be made able to redeem a gift subscription on behalf of a gift recipient who does not already have a subscription.

If a recipient has received a gift subscription, an agent can navigate or create an Account in Salesforce, then navigate to Limio for Salesforce. From the Limio for Salesforce app, they can click the 'Redeem a Gift' button and will be shown a modal that will prompt for a gift code and a country of the recipient.

Once provided, Limio will automatically create an order item with the start date of today for the offer, product and term from the original gift offered by the purchaser. 

If the gift offer has a physical component, the agent will be prompted for a delivery address.

There is no need for a payment method to be recorded and the order can then be submitted. Once submitted, the order will be handled in the same way as  How to sell subscription gift codes.
