The Limio Catalog integration with Zuora simplifies the setup to sell subscriptions via the Limio Commerce platform. Limio offers the following syncs:
- [Recommended] Limio Catalog Sync with Zuora Product Catalog
- [Beta] Updated Sync for Limio Add Ons, Offers and Products from Zuora Product Catalog
Pre-requisite
- Before using this sync, you should have connected Limio to Zuora. Learn more on how to connect here.
- Ensure that you have the view and edit "Product Catalog" permission in Users > Permissions.
[Recommended] Limio Catalog Sync with Zuora Product Catalog
The Limio Catalog Sync is the current recommended method to load a copy of the Zuora Catalog in Limio. This is the first step to configuring your Limio catalog. You'll find the Catalog Sync feature in the "Operations" section of the Limio Commerce application.
Go to the Operations section of the Limio Commerce application and sync (or resync) your Catalog:
Once you have it synced, then you can go ahead with configuring your Limio Products, Limio Offers and your Limio Add-Ons.
On Limio Product, you'll be able to then search for Zuora SKU.
On Products tab of a Limio Offers and Limio Add-Ons, you'll be able to add the Limio Product and search the Zuora Rate Plan. The Rate Plans available for selection are restricted to those available on the corresponding Zuora Product.

Limio has an updated sync that can allow to create bidirectional sync between Zuora and Limio.
Step 1: Configure Zuora custom fields
Go to Billing > Manage Custom Fields, then:
- On Product object, create a custom field:
- Name: “Limio Path”
- API Name:
LimioPath__c
- Field Type: “Text”
- Max Length: 255
- On Product Rate Plan object, create a custom field:
- Name: “Limio Path”
- API Name:
LimioPath__c
- Field Type: “Text”
- Max Length: 255
- (Optional) If you would like your Product Rate Plan to be synced into Limio Catalog as an Add On rather than Offer, on the Product Rate Plan, create a custom field:
- Name: “Limio Type”
- API Name:
LimioType__c
- Field Type: “Text”
- Max Length: 255
- On the relevant Product Rate Plan, set the value to "add_on". If this field is not set up, an Offer will be created by default.

Step 2: Activation in Limio
To enable catalog synchronisation, enable the settings to allow the user to sync Limio Offers, Products and Add Ons when syncing the Zuora Catalog into Limio:
Step 3: Run the sync
You'll find the Catalog Sync feature in the "Operations" section of the Limio Commerce application.
Go to the Operations section of the Limio Commerce application and sync (or resync) your Catalog:
This will:
- Lookup the list of new Products currently stored in Zuora, save them for use in Limio Products, create a Limio Product for each Zuora Product.
- Lookup the the list of new Rate Plans for each Product, save them for use in Limio Offers, and create a Limio Offer or Add-On for each Zuora Rate Plan
- Update any already existing Products and Rate Plans to the corresponding Limio Products and Limio Offers or Add Ons.
During the sync, each Zuora Product and Rate Plan will be updated with a Limio Path in a new LimioPath__c
Custom Field in Zuora if this field has been set up.
This will allow your Limio and Zuora Catalogs to stay in sync after the initial sync.
Synced Limio Products and Offers will then have a marker that they were synced and a date visible in the Limio UI.
This will:
- Lookup the list of new Products currently stored in Zuora and save them for use in Limio Products.
- Lookup the the list of new Rate Plans for each Product and save them for use in Limio Offers.
- Update any already existing Products and Rate Plans.
- Lookup and custom fields defined in Zuora so they can be populated by Limio orders.
