The Limio Shop and Limio Self-Service are the pages generated by the Limio Commerce app and can be hosted on your custom domain. The Limio Shop and Self-Service will typically be hosted on a Limio domain such as {tenant}-shop.prod.limio.com initially. However, it should ultimately be hosted on your company's specific domain.
If you wish to host these pages on custom domains, you will need to follow these steps:
How to setup an extra domain in Limio?
- To request the setup of a new domain, please contact Limio support. It is important to inform Limio of the desired new domain, such as "other-shop.your-website.com," and specify the environment to which it applies.
- For sandboxes, you may use "other-shop-dev" or "other-shop-staging".
-
Once the domain configuration is completed by the Limio team, we will provide you with the necessary technical specifications to allow the cName alias of the Limio site on your domain:
-
These will include the cName to route to your site and the cName to validate the SSL certificate.
-
It is essential for your technical team to review, approve these specifications, and add them to your domain registrar.
-

Upon receiving approval, the Limio team will finalise the configuration process. Once this is completed, you will be able to see your Limio Shop and Self-Service on your custom domain. You will also see your custom domain in the Limio Commerce application.
Important consideration
Provisioning a domain name can take 48h to create and propagate. Please raise a request for a custom domain to support@limio.com as early as possible to avoid delays.
