In a checkout, it is essential to provide a seamless user experience. Customers will want to return to their original entry point after navigating through the checkout and purchasing a subscription so that they can immediately make use of their purchase.
Creating a link that redirects users back to the original entry point can significantly improve the user experience. Limio has a Call-To-Action (CTA) button on its Component: Order Confirmation .
In this guide, we will discuss two methods for creating a data link so that this CTA can return to the original entry point in the funnel.
You should consider how your user entitlement will be updated so that when the user returns to the original article they are able to read the content.
1. Using the Limio to return to the original referrer.
Limio automatically captures the original referrer to a Limio landing page during the checkout journey. To use this feature you can set your CTA link to `/api/sf/ls/reentry` and this will trigger Limio to read the original referrer and return them to that page.
2. Custom Logic
If the automatically captured referrer isn't the behaviour that you are after, then you should consider creating a similar service on your platform. You set the CTA link to a generic API on your platform, you set an appropriate cookie during the user navigation and then when the checkout is complete you create a CTA link that we use your service to return the customer to the original article.
